Australian TV Editor and Director of Photography who started as a freelance filmmaker in Perth, Western Australia. He taught himself all aspects of editing, directing and film making as well as graduating from film school in 2009. Shortly after he gained an apprenticeship with Steve Correia (“Fishing WA”) at Zulu Media an Australian Television Production Company. He became a Director of Photography and Editor for Zulu Media’s TV documentary series “The Water with Steve Correia” which aired nationally for more than three years. During those three years, Kim was also part of the production team for West TV’s “Friday Night Live” which won “Best Live-to-Air Production” in the 2013 WA Screen Awards. Kim’s work includes over 300 projects: TV Commercials production; Fashion Events; Live Broadcasting; Aerial Filmography; Underwater Shooting; Studio Green Screen Filming and Editing; Motion Graphics and Directing/Facilitating teams of people in the art of creating TV and Music Videos.Kim has also stepped up and supported many charitable organizations such as the World Wildlife Foundation, Zero2Hero and the Red Cross. Kim’s latest project “I’m On The Road” (2015) is a community based four part Reality-TV Documentary series following and listening to young teenagers as they explore the world of learning how to drive.
